Who is interested in putting down the credit of the Parish - No good citizen. It is the duty of every taxpayer to stand by the credit of his Parish and not whisper in the ear of his neighbor. The Parish will [repudiate her scrip]

We the Jury individually and collectively tender out thanks to his honor Judge Levisee and the district [attorney] Maj. Ashton for the prompt and efficient in rendered us in the discharge of our dutis as Jurors and we repsectfully beg to be discharged.
