This now-rare lithographed broadside celebrating a gallery of Louisiana's black Reconstruction officials, including Caesar C. Antoine, around a portrait of Oscar J. Dunn, the first black lieutenant governor hung in thousands of black homes in the 19th century. "Extract from the Reconstructed Constitution of the State of Louisiana with Portraits of the Distinguished Members of the Convention and Assembly A.D. 1868" Contains illustrations of prominent African Americans in office. Plain black wooden frame.

Letter from Louisiana Attorney General William J. Guste, Jr. to Mr. Henry N. Brown, Jr. dated July 11, 1975. Legal opinion letter stated that as 1st Assistant District Attorney Mr. Brown was entitled to assume the duties and position of District Attorney on the resignation of the current District Attorney, under Louisiana Law. District Attorney Corkey Marvin resigned as DA to assume a Judgeship.
