Doll (approx. 25-30" tall) with composition shoulder plate, head, arms and legs. Back of shoulder plate is marked: "Acme Toy Co." Cloth body stuffed with what appears to be cotton. Doll has red saran wig and sleep eyes (yellowed). Wig is threadbare in areas, and composition has started to crack in some places. Doll has rubs on face and body from being played with; tips of fingers are missing paint. When received, doll's right arm was disattached- it had previously been repaired. Arm was reattached with white thread so that repairs could be clearly seen and easily removed. Gym-Dandy pedal surrey (pedal car for children) made by the Universal Manufacturing Company of Bossier City. Surrey is made of orange-painted steel and has a striped canopy with a white fringe. The two seats are made of white-painted wood. The surrey holds four children. The children in the second seat pedal while the children on the front seat ride.
