Letter sent to Raul A. Cuestas, Jr., M.D. in regards to the outcome of City Council meeting about emergency ambulance service in Bossier City. The outcome of the meeting was as follows: 1. The City will respond to all emergency cases received in Bossier City. 2. We will honor our memberships purchased by Bossier City residents in regards to emergency ambulance service. These will be honored through their expiration date. 3. When Bossier City is called to respond to emergency situations outside City limits, you will also be notified so you amy respond with the emergency ambulance service. 4. It is our understanding from your comments that Cuestas Ambulance will continue to provide regular transport service and continue to honor membership purchased by Bossier City residents for transport service. In the event that you receive the emergency medical calls for response to a Bossier City address, we will greatly appreciate your notifying us immediately and as I mentioned before we will do the same for response to Bossier Parish. If you have any specific questions about how this shall be handled (ambulance service), please contact Chief J.T. Wallace. Dr. Cuestas, on behalf of the City Council I wish to thank you again for the manner for which you helped to resolve this matter and also for your continued cooperation for providing ambulance service throughout Bossier Parish.
