Vol. 16 Issue 6 Cover Our Neighborhoods From north Bossier to South Highlands, and from southeast Shreveport to south Bossier, we love where we live. In many ways, our neighborhoods define who we are as a community. We explore neighborhoods across Shreveport and Bossier City and discover why we love to live there so much. Mountains vs the Beach Just like some of us are dog people and some of us are cat people, some of us like to vacation in the mountatins, and some of us like to vacation at the beach. We make a case for each one, but mostly we maake a case for taking time away to rest and relax. Home with the Hesters All of us know Jacob and Katie Hester, mostly from Jacob's time as a star footbll player at LSU and the Nathional Football League. They have graciously allowed us to take a tour of their fabulous home. Architectural Gems We asked local architect Jessica Harris to give us a tutorial on some of the most beautiful pieces of architecture in Shreveport-Bossier City. But we had a caveat - the places she selected couldn't be the usual magnificent structures we highlight all the time. |
