It has helped improve the community by supporting the first water system, Youth Baseball groups which later became Dixie Baseball." The LIons Club supports Louisiana Eye Bank, Children's Camp, Louisiana Association for the Blind, Lions Eye Foundation, A.C.T.I.O.N., Glasses for the needy, and Leader Dog for the Blind.
