On March 12, 2018 the City of Shreveport announced that we will receive $500, 000 for physical preservation of the Old Galilee Missionary Baptist Church for a Civil Rights Museum from the U.S. Department of Interior and National Park Service. In addition to a $250, 000 match from the City of Shreveport. Will be the first Civil Rights Museum in the region. |
