A two page write up that Sarah-Elizabeth Gundlach wrote about regarding the Hoyer-Lewis Home. The transcript includes a few stories about the house that Mrs. Lewis shared with both Director, Ann Middleton and Curator, Sarah-Elizabeth Gundlach after she bought several copies of Colonel Yarborough's book. In this brief oral history, she mentions the interior of the house and what the family did to the house after they bought the home. In the later part of the interview, Mrs. Lewis talks about the estate sale she held when she decided to sell the house in 1995 and dealing with a teller at Red River Bank in town. |
