Top twirling trophy- November 18, 1976-Bossier Tribune; Bossier Flashette Susan Hill displays the first-place trophy that she and her 50-girl marching and twirling group comrades received Saturday at the First Annual Tamale Fiesta in Zwolle. This sequinned Bellaire fourth grader, a drum major for the award-winning group, is the nine year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hill of Bossier City. The Flashettes, ages five through 12, are directed by Shannon Rahm, and their new November 13 trip was sponsored by the National Bank of Bossier. 2. December 11, 1974- Bossier Flashettes took part in the Natchitoches Christmas Festival of Lights last Saturday. The Flashettes according to some were the highlight of the parade. The annual Festival was said to have drawn over 48,000 observers. Page 89 of scrapbook. |
