Vol. 3 Issue 12 Cover Angels Among Us Our community is fortunate to have a number of people who give generously to those less fortunate. They give financially, but they also give their time and talents to Shreveport and Bossier City. Christmas in the Sky It only comes every two years, but it's well worth the wait. Christmas in the Sky is the giant fund-raiser for the Shreveport Regional Arts Council. It's the best of the best special events in our region, not to mention the United States. Independence Bowl College football is inundated with bowl games, but the Mainstay Independence Bowl keeps getting better and better. The Gift of Life Miracles happen every day here. Among them are the many people who receive organ transplants. They are given the precious gift of life. |
