Copy of the May 29, 1952, Bossier Bear Facts. Large Audience Applauds Play "New Fires"- Senior play, "New Fires" directed by Miss Janyes, was a big hit with those who saw it. The comedy in three acts told of Santry family that moved from Chicago to a farm they had inherited in Southern Missouri. Paper Staff Has Dinner At Worms'- The 1951-52 Bearfacts staff enjoyed a chicken supper at Worms Hilltop House on May 14, 1952. Special guests were Mrs. Calhoun, Mr. and Mrs. E.L. Reding and Mr. Gamble. Shirley McGee Chosen Editor Of Les Memories- 1952-53 editor for Les Memories will be Shirley McGee Nineteen Receive Letters In Track, Announces Kirkland- Coach Randal Kirckland has announced the boys who will receive letters for their performances during the 1952 track season. Bear Facts Staff For 1952-53 are Chosen- Elected as co-editors of next year's Bear Facts staff were Mary Elizabeth Westmoreland and Alice land. Jimmy Ritter Named President of the Band- Take 'time out' of rehearsal, the band choose it's officers. The two new coaches will be Jerry Hartsfield and Walter Gorinski. Paul Adams To Enter AAU Track Trials- Paul Adams, Bearkat track star and captain of the team seems to be on his way to National fame. Time Draws Near For Our Coaches To Leave B.H.S.- Loy Camp and Randall Kirkland say good bye New Record Set In Free Throws- Recent free throw contest was won by Bill Sanders with a "record breaking" 81 out of 100 shots.
