Hot Water, Heat, air conditioned, telephones and Simmons mattresses- Owned and operated by the Drake Family, Telephone 5-7483. Postmark: May 24, 1953 Meridian, Miss. Addressed to: Mrs. Eleanor Gleason Plain Dealing, LA. From: L & E Sat. Nite 23rd May Jackson We got here just before dark, after a 74 miles detour from Delhi to Oak Grove, to Lake Providence to Tallulah. Water still over Highway 80 between Delhi and Tallulah. Did not stop in Oak Grove. Both of us have a good sun burn to doctor tonite. Going to bed early and sleep late. Have a short drive tomorrow- 250 miles. L & E |
