This cookbook commemorates the 40 anniversary of the Immaculate Conception Society of the church. The donor, Mrs. Lombardino, wrote the foreword and the introduction. This cookbook contains many of the "homestyle" recipes of the Italian community in this area. Mrs. Lombardino wrote the inscription in Italian, it reads: This book was donated to the Bossier Parish Historical Center in memory of the Cefaluese Italians who lived in Shreveport and Bossier City, La. |
