Description |
This train wreck occurred near Plain Dealing, Louisiana. The coming of the railroad in 1888 produced a new found horror for area residents, as the speeding trains would often kill livestock and sometimes people. These wrecks and the destroyed track had to be replaced in as short a time as possible to make way for the next trains. |
