Description |
Wagons gather at the Bell and Sentell Cotton Gin on Lynch Street in Plain Dealing. The gins would run night and day, ginning cotton. It was said that some farmers would have to sleep in their wagons to keep their place in line. Cotton would remain a mainstay of same farmers until the 1990s, when very few cotton fields would remain in Bossier. Wagons going down North Lynch Street to Plain Dealing Cotton Gin. H.M. Bailey blacksmith shop and Love Hall. |
