Description |
Millers Bluff Ferry was located about 1 mile north of where Louisiana Highway 2 crosses the Red River, west of Plain Dealing going to Hosston, This picture was taken by John H. Allen, of Plain Dealing, about 1910. The Miller bluff Bridge between Plain Dealing and Hosston was opened June 20, 1955. It was about a mile below the old ferry. This is only one of two known photographs of ferries in Bossier Parish. |
