Hwy. 80 East - Bossier City, LA. Heresay has it that the "Sak's" part of the name of Merle Kemmerly's club came from the legend that Kemmerly had no money to decorate the club, so gunny sacks were used on the walls for decoration. As for the glasses, it is said that Kemmerly gave away many to servicemen from Barksdale Air Force Base. |
